League Meetings – Open Play
Sarasota Youth Pickleball League meets Tuesday evenings from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at the Pompano courts, 601 S Pompano Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237. We have open-play, round-robin style matches on Tuesdays. The league is open exclusively to youth players who are middle school through high school. We cater to all skill levels from beginner to experienced players.
There is NO COST for membership. We just ask that you complete the required liability waiver and turn it in upon attending your child’s first meeting at the Pampano courts. Ideally, members have their own paddles, but the league does provide paddles if needed

Is there a cost to join the league?
No, it is completely free to join.
Do I need to bring my own personal paddle and balls?
No. It is encouraged to have your own paddle, but we will have extra paddles for those teens who need them. Balls will be supplied by the league.
Does a participant need experience playing pickleball to join the league?
No experience is required. We have players who are just picking up a paddle for the first time to players who have been playing for multiple years.
Are there any other requirements one needs to join the league?
The only requirement needed to join is an age requirement. We are exclusively a youth pickleball league, serving ages from middle school through high school. As well, a general liability waiver needs to be filled out and signed by a parent or legal guardian of the youth player.
When and where does the league meet?
We meet every Tuesday afternoon from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm at 601 S. Pompano Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237
Can I just be dropped off or does a parent or legal guardian have to stay with me?
Unless you have made prior arrangements in advance with Gillett or Julie (League Co-Founders & Instructors), the parent or adult from the school or youth organization must stay with you for the two hours.
Are there clothing or shoe requirements?
It’s suggested participants where loose-fitting apparel and closed-toed court shoes.
